| The FiberbondTM FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) Structural Strengthening System is a cost effective family of well proven and engineered, strengthening products designed to meet a wide variety of strengthening applications on concrete, masonry and wood. We offer a cured in place system, pre-cured shells, rods, bars, plates and other structural shapes.
The system consists of the fibers, typically Carbon (VelaCarb) or Glass (VelaGlass), which primarily carry the loads, and a proprietary Epoxy resin system (Veloxx LR) which transfers the shear loads among the fibers, protects them, and bonds them to the structure. FiberbondTM is the only system using "two-phase resins," well known in the composites industry for high bond strength, flexibility and durability.
